User guide
YotoMediaManager
YotoMediaManager helps you collect audio, prepare excerpts, and manage playlists for your Yoto players. Your audio library stays on your computer. Your playlists belong to your Yoto account, and changes are sent to Yoto directly.
Import an audio file or a publicly accessible YouTube video, remove an introduction or credits, rename the content, and choose a small illustration for each chapter.
The app is available in English and French. It follows your computer's language, and you can change it under Compte (Account) → Langue / Language. This guide shows the French labels in code; in English the same controls sit in the same places.
A five-step workflow
- Import audio from a file or YouTube link.
- Prepare the audio and listen to your selection.
- Connect your Yoto account.
- Open or create a playlist, then add your audio.
- Choose a player and start playback.
The getting started guide walks you through your first playlist.
Keep the app up to date with downloads and installation directly in the app.

Current availability
The app is still being validated. Audio imports, preparation, and native interactions have been exercised on Apple Silicon macOS. Yoto operations are also tested against a simulated API. Full validation with real Yoto players, Apple notarization, and Windows and Intel Mac testing remain to be completed. The app explains when a feature is unavailable.
The playlist catalog contains your Make Your Own creations. The general catalog of commercial Yoto store cards is not available in this version.
